KIDS & YOUTH programs
TAP FOR TOTS & BEGINNER KIDS
TDC offers “Tap for Tots” to get your little ones moving and grooving, starting at the age of three. We also have two levels of Beginner with a range of ages, typically starting at age seven. For those students that want to be challenged in a more extensive program, check out “Performing Companies”
JUNIOR PREP & TEEN
From age eight and up, TDC offers programs to students that want to improve their skills while attaining a more ‘all round’ education in tap dance. This program enhances a student’s skills by incorporating many different aspects including history, technique, choreography, and improvisation.
PERFORMING COMPANIES Junior, YOuTH, &
PRE-PROFESSIONAL
This program is for the intermediate to advanced dancer. Classes include Bucket Drumming (for music theory), syllabus training (including history), technique, choreography, and improvisation with various instructors. These preforming companies will participate in three to four shows a year.
